When is the next Thrive-Up?
Wednesday, July 13th, from 12pm-2pm. We’ll be hanging out in the Oakway Center Courtyard. Grab some Mucho, sushi, Cold Stone, or a burger, and hangout with us!
What are Thrive-Ups?
Thrive-Ups are an opportunity to meet up and hang out in the community. The summer is a GREAT time to just get together and be present with one another. I want to make myself as available as possible, and coming to the church office isn’t always the best place or the most convenient option. Over the summer (and likely into the school year) I’ll be hanging out at various public places throughout Eugene and Springfield. Anyone and everyone is welcome to swing by and hang out. There’s no agenda, just hanging out with each other.
This isn’t an event, but an informal gathering. There’s no permission form required, because I’m not “in charge”. So, if we have a Thrive-Up at the mall, don’t drop your youth off if your not comfortable with them hanging out at the mall by themselves. I’ll be there during the designed time, but I’m there to be available, not to police or babysit.
